One of the many great things about this park is that it has an extensive network of rough mountain bike trails packed into a fairly small area of land between the sloughs and river. Entirely by chance, we were there during a 12-hour race, and we got to watch (and mainly hear, since the mangroves grow quite thick) racers go by as we paddled around.
