Sure, we’re known for outdoors activities in the wilds of Florida. So if we recommend a passive indoor, activity, that’s truly exceptional.

And it is.

This Saturday we’re going to the movies, and we’re really excited about it.

In honor of the 100th birthday of the U.S. National Parks, a new IMAX movie debuts Saturday “National Parks Adventure.” I love its tagline: “Discover the wild places that belong to us all,” and to top it off, it is narrated by my boyfriend Robert Redford.

The film, which captures off-trail adventures in about 40 of the 400 national parks including Everglades National Park, is opening Saturday at four popular IMAX theaters in Florida:

It opens Feb 19, 2016, at the Challenger Learning Center in Tallahassee, and in September at the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola.

The film follows three climbers and adventurers and features some “don’t-try-this-yourself” moments including dangerous-looking leaps and mountain-bike stunts.

The real stars, though, are the spectacular wild places open to all of us, according to film producers.

Here’s the trailer for the IMAX film:
