Pensacola Seafood Festival, Sept. 29-Oct. 1: Free and fun

PENSACOLA — The Pensacola Seafood Festival kicks off the 2023-24 Seafood Festival Season with fresh local seafood from the Gulf of Mexico served by participating local restaurants.

Featured local catches include Shrimp, Crawfish, Scallops, Crab, Grouper, Alligator, Calamari, Gumbo, Lobster Rolls, Crawfish Mac’n’Cheese, Grits a YaYa, Seafood Skewers, Kabobs, Crab Cakes, Jambalaya, Etoufee, Coconut Shrimp, Seafood Baskets, Paella, Conch Fritters. Yum.

The Pensacola Seafood Festival also offers cooking demonstrations, a 5K run/walk, a cost-friendly children’s area, and other activities located in Bartram Park.

More than 170 arts and crafts vendors are scheduled to display their work, making the Pensacola Seafood Festival one of the largest arts and crafts fairs in Northwest Florida. The festival requires that items for sale are 100% handmade.

Entertainment at the 2023 Pensacola Seafood Festival

Live musical performances by local and regional acts are held in Fountain Park, adjacent to Seville Square. Some past performers have gone on to Grammy award-winning artists. Entertainment is free. No pets or coolers.

Getting There

Directions: Take I-110 south to Gregory Street exit to Alcaniz Street.  Turn left onto Alcaniz Street and follow to Government Street to the Seville Square area or 311 East Government Street, Pensacola, FL.

Parking: Festival parking is available throughout the downtown area on a first-come, first-served basis.  All downtown lots are owned by private businesses and will likely charge a parking fee. These fees are not associated or controlled by the Pensacola Seafood Festival or Fiesta Pensacola. Handicapped Parking will be available throughout the weekend on  a first come first served basis, with pass, in the Bartram Park parking lot (211 Bayfront Pkwy)

Hours: Friday, 11 am to 11 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 11 pm; Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm.

Pets: Not permitted on festival grounds.
