Labor Day Weekend: Key West Brewfest, Key West. More than 150 beers and microbrews are on tap at this 9th annual event that benefits the charitable efforts of the Key West Sunrise Rotary Club. Events from beer dinners, beer brunches, happy hour parties, pool parties, late-night parties, seminars and the Signature Tasting Festival Event are some of the offered activities. 800-354-4455.
Sept. 6-7, 2018: 20th Annual Emerald Coast Beer Festival. 7 pm-Midnight, Seville Quarter, Pensacola.
Sept. 8, 2018: 5th Annual Bruval Craft Beer Festival. Featuring North Florida’s top craft breweries and an unlimited tasting area. 3 Hour Craft Beer Sampling, $35; 4 Hour Craft Beer Sampling, $45; Designated Driver, $10. 12 noon-10 pm. Seawalk Pavilion, 1st St. N, Jacksonville Beach.
Sept. 8, 2018: Florida SMaSH Beer Festival. With roughly 80 beers to sample including one-offs from every brewery involved, there will be something to please everyone. Proceeds go to the Sharing Center. 4-8 p.m. Reiter Park, 301 West Warren Ave., Longwood.
Sept. 15, 2018: South Florida’s 2nd Annual Craft Beer Run. Benefit for Nico’s Promise (Support for family of deceased children) and Sebastian Strong (Racing for a cure to childhood cancer.) The Tank Brewing Company, 5100 NW 72nd Ave, Miami.
Sept. 22, 2018: SwantoberFest. German-style competitions, German food & drink, and live music by The Europa Band. Chicken dance competition. Lots of games. Admission Free. Beer served from 5-9:30 pm. Event ends at 10 p.m. 210 E Main St, Lakeland.
Sept. 22, 2018: Brew 2 At The Zoo, Celebrate South Florida’s craft beer with samples from at least 25 local brewers while checking out the Palm Beach Zoo’s amazing wildlife. Oct. 6 and Oct. 27, 2018: Oktoberfest, German American Club of Central Florida. The German American Society of Central Florida sponsors two public festivals in October with live entertainment, dancing, stein-holding contests, beer, bratwursts, potato salad, pretzels and bounce houses for children. “The most authentic Oktoberfest celebration in Florida,” the club promises. 12 noon until 10 p.m. both dates. 381 Orange Lane, Casselberry.
Oct. 5-7, 2018: 14th Annual Oktoberfest, Oakland Park. Amusement rides, Bavarian folk dancers, Sepp Diepolder: Master jodler, zither and accordion player, German food and beer are highlights of this Oktoberfest presented by the Funky Buddha Brewery.
