Our annual baseball Florida Spring Training Guide is your go-to resource for 2025 Florida Spring Training with game schedules, stadium locations, things to do and places to stay nearby.
Pitchers and catchers report to camp no later than February 13, and the rest of the team by February 18. Reporting dates vary, depending on the team and the training needs of individual players.
Spring training games begin on February 21. The regular season runs from March 27 to September 28, 2025.

Tampa Bay-area Spring Training
New York Yankees — Tampa
Steinbrenner Field, the spring training home of the Yankees, has the same dimensions as Yankee Stadium, down to the inch, made so by “the Boss”, who phoned the Bronx from Tampa during construction in 1996 and instructed an employee run to the outfield wall with a tape measure, even as a storm raged in New York.
The stadium is normally the summer home for the Yankees’ class A affiliate, the Tampa Tarpons, but not this year. For the 2025 regular season, Steinbrenner Field becomes the regular season home of the Tampa Bay Rays after Hurricane Milton heavily damaged Tropicana Field across town.
The Yankees went to the World Series in 2024 but lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
