The fate of Florida’s Oktoberfest celebrations is unknown for 2020, but an indication of what’s to come may be found in the cancellation of Oktoberfest in Munich.
We are attempting to keep up with these changes as September nears, so stay tuned and come back often for updates. Meantime, here are the dates scheduled so far.

September 2020 Oktoberfest Schedule
Oktoberfest at Bluewater Bay, Sept. 25-26, 2020, Niceville. Admission is free. Family-oriented event with German traditions and food. Enjoy bratwurst, sauerkraut, beer, wine, a German band, the High Steppers, clowns, children’s rides. Fri. 5-10 pm, Sat. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Bluewater Bay, Maps: Niceville.
Wynwood Octoberfest, Sept. 25-27, 2020, Miami. Seasonal brews, indoors grand “Munich” beer hall, long festival tables, German bands, beer games, authentic food, artisan market. Admission is free. Sponsored by Sam Adams and Jack Daniels. Map: Wynwood Marketplace, 2250 NW 2nd Ave.
Hollywood Oktoberfest, Sept. 26, Oct. 10, Oct. 24, 2020. Hollywood, FL. German American Society of Greater Hollywood. Oktoberfest celebrations held on three Saturdays (4 pm until midnight) at the society’s clubhouse, Map: German-American Society, 6401 Washington Street,

Oktoberfest, Dates TBA Casselberry. The German American Society of Central Florida sponsors two public festivals in October with live entertainment, dancing, stein-holding contests, beer, bratwursts, potato salad, pretzels and bounce houses for children. “The most authentic Oktoberfest celebration in Florida,” the club promises. 12 noon until 10 p.m. both dates. Oktoberfest, Dates TBA. Oakland Park. Amusement rides, Bavarian folk dancers, Sepp Diepolder: Master jodler, zither and accordion player, German food and beer are highlights of this Oktoberfest presented by the Funky Buddha Brewery. Admission $5. Map: Jaco Pastorius Park, 4000 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park.
63rd Oktoberfest Miami. Oct. 9-10, Oct. 16-17, 2020. German American Social Club of Greater Miami. celebrating authentic German culture, including German beers, live German music, German food, and German folk dancing. The original and longest-running Oktoberfest in Florida. Fridays: 6pm until 12 midnight; Saturdays: from 1pm until 12 midnight; Sundays: from 12 noon until 10 pm. Admission $10 for adults. Bacon & Brew Fest, Deltona. Pigs and brews come together for this festival that celebrates great combinations. Not an Oktoberfest, but close enough with bacon, beer, music and fun. 125 beverage and food vendors with live music and events. Free admission. Check out bacon-eating contest. 12 noon to 7 p.m. Special note: Festival has moved from Deland to Dewey O. Boster Park. Map: 1200 Saxon Blvd.,Deltona
Grovetoberfest, Oct. 9, 2020. Miami. Selection of more than 500 local craft beers, tastings, live music, and some of our annual favorite features! $44 (General Admission) to $89 (VIP). Special note: Festival has moved to Regatta Park. Map: 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami.
47th Annual Oktoberfest, Oct. 11,12,13, Oct. 18-19, 2020. Lake Worth. American German Club of the Palm Beaches. The granddaddy of South Florida Oktoberfests and billed as the largest Oktoberfest in the country. Enjoy authentic German Oktoberfest bands, dancing, German food and beer. Oktoberfest at Park and Ocean, Dates TBA. Fort Lauderdale. The open space at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park will be transformed into a village with biergartens, festive décor and a tented dining area. A German-American menu will be offered featuring Bratwurst, Pretzels, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Burgers, to name a few! Breweries will feature two brews each. Admission: $10 each day. Beaches Oktoberfest, Dates TBA, Jacksonville Beach. Two-day festival features German beers, three stages with live entertainment, food trucks, a 100-foot ferris wheel and more. Admission is free; VIP passes available. Map: Sea Walk Pavilion, Jacksonville Beach
Upper Tampa Bay Oktoberfest. German celebration with food, drinks, music, competitions for Stein Holding, Log Sawing, Keg Tossing, and Barrel Rolling. Admission $5; Friday, 5-11 p.m; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday noon to 6 p.m. at Tampa Bay Downs. Map: 11225 Race Track Road, Oldsmar.
3rd Annual Oktoberfest. Oct. 16-18, 202. Sarasota. Hours are Friday 4pm – 10pm, Saturday 11am – 10pm and Sunday from 11am – 6pm. Admission is free. Music and Bavarian dancers.
